Abstract
The article is, in fact, a short review of the scientific monograph «Traditional China on the Path to Modernization», published in 2020 at the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The authors of the review used research methods, such as an expert survey and extrapolation.The article is prepared within the framework of the scientific school State Policy and Management, which is functioning on a permanent basis at the Civil Defense Academy EMERCOM of Russia.
