Abstract
The article analyzes the stages of the formation of analytical competencies in the field of ethno-confessional processes among future theologians and religious scholars. The author shows the main difficulties that students face when conducting analytical research and developing management decisions, and describes possible ways to overcome them within the educational process. The author offers her own training system and effective methods of forming the analytical competence of a specialist in the field of national and religious relations.
