Abstract

The article discusses the problem of cinification policy towards the national minorities of China in the framework of the soft power concept in the domestic politics of the People's Republic of China. The aim of the work is to study the territorial policy of the PRC considering the historical process of national minorities’ appeasement and cinification policy development. The paper considers the most significant stages in the formation of China's national policy on the example of interaction with proto-Zhuang and Zhuang communities in the period from Qin to Song. The search results in a presentation of the most effective way of national regulation, which was the result of the gradual development of Han-Zhuang relations. Selection of a considerable range of traditional Chinese literature, as well as analysis of the contemporary notes of certain stages in the development of the national policy also had a positive impact on the quality of work. The main stages of the formation of national policy, and a number of factors that are fundamental within the framework of the national regulation system were identified and scientifically substantiated, presumably related to the general doctrine of the PRC's territorial policy. This study is of value in the framework of the PRC national and territorial policy studies. In addition, the article may be of use for China southern regions researchers.
