Abstract
The authors consider formation of social and historical memory among students of technical universities through the need for educational work in the worldview and ideological aspects. The authors show the possibilities of educational work for preserving and increasing social and historical memory among students and developing patriotic sentiments among young people using the method of content analysis of essays of students who visited the State Historical Museum (GIM).
