Abstract

The article analyzes the group and public ideologies in the context of urbanization and digitalization. The authors note that the relationship between the state and the ideology of technology is ambivalent. On the one hand, such an ideology provides the state with the opportunity to strengthen control and organization of management processes, including mass data collection. On the other hand, an overabundance of information, coupled with insufficiently developed skills for working with it among the population, as well as a variety of ideas available, can lead to a loss of control over the masses and an erosion of the values that the state seeks to convey.
