The journal “Living Standards of the Population in the Regions of Russia” publishes the results of fundamental and applied research, analytical materials of leading experts from Russia and abroad.
The main goals of the journal are:
- information exchange, spreading the scientific results and achievements and other innovations in the field of the level and quality of life research, as well as related areas;
- substantiation, development, and dissemination of the concept of increasing the level and quality of life as an integral idea of the innovative development of society;
- expanding opportunities for indexing scientific papers in key Russian and international citation databases.
The journal, as part of the Russian and international scientific information system, fulfills the following tasks:
- reflection of the research results, both fundamental and applied, presented by specialists, graduate students, and applicants who focus on the issues of the level and quality of life;
- formation of the research component of the university environment and dissemination of the main scientific achievements in the field of the level and quality of life;
- identification of scientific potential to implement the advanced achievements in order to improve the level and quality of life in Russia and internationally;
- organization of open scientific polemics, contributing to the improvement of the quality of dissertation research, the effectiveness of the examination of scientific works;
- ensuring publicity and openness reflecting the main areas of activity of international research teams in the field of the level and quality of life issues.
The journal is included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission in the following thematic areas: “Economics and management of the national economy”, “Social structure, social institutions and processes”, “Social Philosophy”. It supports research and discussions on various economic, sociological, and philosophical problems of the level and quality of life.
Open-Access Policy
The journal provides free of charge open access to its content based on the following principle: free open access to research results promotes global knowledge sharing. Full-text articles and all other published materials are available at the journal’s official website three mounths after its publication. The materials published at the journal’s website permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself.
