Abstract
Object of the Study. Of the study is mortality.
Subject of the Study. The regional features of mortality in the Far East Federal Okrug.
Purpose of the Study. Studying mortality in the regions of the Far East Federal Okrug to justify the main directions of its decline at the regional level.
The decrease of mortality in Russia requires the reduction of mortality in every region. In the 21st century life expectancy has increased in all Russian regions, including the Far East Federal Okrug. The author analyzes the features of the level and dynamics of the standardized mortality rate and mortality. The analysis of the standardized mortality rate has shown that practically in almost all the regions of the Far East Federal Okrug mortality was higher than in Russia.
