Abstract

Today Far Eastern Russia is in a complicated socioeconomic situation. Despite success in several regions the depopulation process (one of the most important indicators of the socioeconomic potential of the territory and one of the geostrategic factors) continues. Previous studies have shown that high rates of industrial development and implementation of the large-scale economic projects are important but insufficient for the increment of the population. Other measures and instruments to influence on this process are needed. Special modes of economic management could be an efficient tool to increasing demographic potential, if it will contain the direct impact mechanisms on the welfare of local residents. Giving them the mood for the rootedness and reproduction in the Far East of Russia.
