Abstract
Based on the application of social standards of quality and living standards the welfare of the population in the Far East Federal Okrug has been analyzed. Problems are identified and the ways of their solution are suggested.
Object of the Study. Quality and standard of living of the population of the Far East Federal Okrug of Russia (FFO).
Subject of the Study. Estimati quality and living standards of the population in the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal Okrug on the basis of social indicators.
Purpose of the Study. Comparative analysis of FFO subjects by indicators of quality and living standards of the population, identifying problems and ways to solve them.
Basic Provisions of the Article. The authors analyze the quality and living standards of the population of the regions of the Far East Federal Okrug based on social indicators (the index of human development, the purchasing power of wages and incomes of the population, the level of absolute poverty of the population by income, the Gini coefficient, the gross regional product at purchasing power parity) in comparison with the Russian Federation as a whole. The ranking of subjects of the Far East Federal Okrug by the quality and standard of living of the population has been carried out. Problems of improving the quality and living standards of the population have been identified, and proposals for their solution have been developed.
