Abstract
The Object of the Study. The living standards and quality of life of the population in a region.
Subject of the Study. Sociodemographic factors of development of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya).
Purpose of the Study. Evaluating the impact of sociodemographic factors on living standard of the population.
The Basic Theoretical Aspects. The main factors shaping the living standards and quality of life of the population in the region and the main socio-demographic factors of development of territories have been identified, and the degree of their influence has been estimated.
Conclusions. Sociodemographic factors of the territory’s development have a significant impact on the living standards and quality of life of the population. The revealed regional features of the region predetermine the requirements to law regulatory framework for the location of educational and health facilities, taking into account existing regional characteristics.
