Abstract

Relevance. The article is devoted to the first phase of the formation of historical sociology as a science and opportunities for interdisciplinary study of sociocultural transformation processes. Subject. The article reveals specifics of the historical development of sociology as a science industry knowledge in the initial phase, which can become a methodological basis of the study of  the Russian society. The authors study the specifics of the subject of the study of the historical sociology. Task Setting. The researchers identify factors of scientific organization of historical sociology as a science industry knowledge, categorical apparatus which promotes the study of historical perspective and cultural transformation of the Russian society.
