Abstract
The census data and its analysis is necessary to identify the existing problems of formation of labour resources and develop the strategy of the demographic policy of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya).
Object. The population of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Subject. Spatiotemporal differentiation of the population in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya) in the intercensal period of 2002 to 2010.
Purpose. Characteristics of the spatiotemporal features of changes in the number and composition of the population of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya) in the intercensal period of 2002 to 2010 with using the cartographic methods.
The Theoretical Description of the Article. The demographic processes of intercensal 2002 to 2010 period in Yakutiya is discussed. Possible consequences of their influence on the formation of the labour market are analyzed. The characteristics of regional differences in the number of reproduction, migration and structure of the population of Yakutiya have been given using the cartographic methods. The identification of differences in the factors under consideration determines the need for differentiation of regional population policy and the development and flexible regional demographic program, with the general instability of the demographic situation.
