Abstract
The Object of the Study is the problem of interaction of technology and society
The Subject of the Study is analyzing the problem of the state and trends of symbiosis and cyborgization of socium.
The Main Theoretical Aspects. Technology is an important determinative element of the present and future development of mankind. As a social phenomenon, technology is a product of society and an element of socium. But, simultaneously with the «socialization» of technology, there is a process of its relative autonomization and alienation. Contradictions and threats, in this case, are associated not only with the tendency of dehumanization and «mechanization» of a human being and society under the influence of the logics of the technical systems, but also with negative, destructive qualities of the human beings themsselves. Already there is a process of «cyborgization» of socium. A human being and society are functionally already «connected» with cyber-mechanical systems of automats in factories, in everyday life, in politics, in culture. TV, a laptop, a smartphone, the Internet - these are already existential elements of a person, built into its daily routine. Technical and cybernetic systems have a negative impact, deforming natural, humanistic social- and interpersonal relationships, Cyborg systems of society, included in its life, cyber-technical machines, devices, mechanisms deform society through a human and with the help of a human being. An alternative to the cyborgization of society and a human being is the harmonization of the interaction of a human being and technology on the principle of mutually beneficial functional symbiosis. All human activity must now realize the principle of complementarity of technology and a human being with a humanistic basis, loaded into programs. A high level of consciousness and culture, a moral human factor, determine the positive or negative technical future. Conclusions. The contradictory nature of the interaction between socium and technology generates two tendencies: «symbiosis» and «cyborgization». Resolution of this contradiction is preferably in the form of mutually beneficial functional symbiosis of society and technology.
