Abstract
The Object of the Study. Precarious employment.
The Subject of the Study. Profile of precarious employment. The Purpose of the Study. Identifying the profile of precarious employment in Russia on the basis of the analysis of databases on employment (Internet platforms "Work in Russia", Super Job, Head Hunter, data of Federal State Statistics Service and data of Russia Longitudinal Monitoring survey (RLMS-HSE)).
The main Provisions of the Article. Precarious employment (precarity of employment) is forced to the employee socioeconomic relations arising in the process of reproduction of labor force, while narrowing the sphere of employment on the basis of the official open-ended employment contract with a standard work week and expanding it in the fixed-term employment contract, civil contract and other relations of employment and in informal employment in the formal economy, hidden production, illegal activities and unemployment. The development of information and communication technologies allows to minimize transaction costs in the labour market and to reduce the negative manifestations of precarious employment by monitoring the current databases on employment opportunities, such as the Internet platform. For estimating parameters of precarious employment, the authors conducted a study of Russia's largest Internet platforms - "Work in Russia", Super Job, Head Hunter, which allowed to form a profile of precarious employment, characterized by a stated need of employees (CV) and employers (vacancies) in this form of employment. The results of the analysis are complemented by analysis of data of Federal State Statistics Service and Russia Longitudinal Monitoring survey (RLMS-HSE).
