The Sociocultural Diversity of the Metis and Some Aspects of Realization of Their Vital Opportunities in System of Social Institutes of Altay Republic in the Early 21st Century

Object of the Study. Sociocultural diversity of Metis of the Altay Republic. Subject of the Study. Features of the vital forces of the Métis in the system of social institutions in the region. Theoretical Aspect of the Subject. In modern society, there are two counter trends in global socio-cultural processes: increasing the scale of their unification and integration with a simultaneous increase in ethnic and cultural diversity by the emergence of national states, social institutions, ethnic, socioprofessional communities. Integration processes are accompanied by the development of ethno-cultural and social diversity in the form of pair and diversified social strata, including ethnic groups of the Metis of different national and cultural character and lifestyle. The interaction of living space and vitality of the population have three main options: natural and  geographical, on the basis of sustainable cultural sociosymbolic; on the interaction of space and potential in life different population groups. The interaction of ethnic groups takes into account the development of vitality and space of being the underlying social relations that is expressed in the activity of representatives of various social and ethnocultural groups, including the Metis, with complex ethnic identity because of their mixed ancestry. The Metis along with their adaptation to existing own sociocultural values, produce their own attitudes and social behaviors. Depending on permanent residence, non-environment named position in a monoculture and in a multicultural environment may appear different. Features of the development of ethno cultural and sociocultural life of the Metis provide an opportunity to consider their ethnic and cultural behavior as a vitality and a resource that allows them to adapt in society. By force of cultural and historical identity of the Altay Republic the problems of interethnic interaction and socio-cultural diversity mixed groups are of considerable theoretical and practical interest. Empirical Aspect of the Subject. The empirical research is based on materials of regional statistics and sociological research (2006-2015). The object of the research was formed by method of «snowball». The main method of collecting empirical information on the subject of sociological research was «deep semi-structured interview with guide», using indirect, scoping issues. Purpose. To determine the specificity of sociocultural diversity of the Métis as a certain feature of their «being», the possibility of realizing their vital forces in the system of social institutions of multiethnic regional communities. Main Theoretical and Empirical Theses. Application to the analysis of sociocultural diversity of the Metis concept of vitality of a person allows us to formulate theoretical and methodological foundations for the analysis of the condition, mechanism of formation, realization of potential in life, and also to explain the peculiarities of their position in society. This allows you to see not only the specific indicators, but also to identify overall trends, given the advances of the various sciences, their influence on modern understanding the mechanism of interaction of living space and the capacity of national-ethnic groups of the region.
