Abstract

Object of the Study. Labour market, employment and jobs in the City of Moscow. Subject of the Study. Dynamics of changes in market pressure in Moscow from 2008 to 2016. Purpose of the Study. Revealing the trends and main reasons for changes in the structure of jobs and their impact on the labour market in the course of crisis. Giving examples of positive practical work and suggesting that the existing order of activity on the labour market should be corrected. Results of the Study. The main reasons for changes on the Moscow labour market have been revealed. Consequences of pursuing an active policy of employment at concrete periods of time, including the periods of the highest labour market pressure (“crisis” periods), have been formulated. Positive and negative practices of regulating employment in the regions as well as further trends and reasons for negative trends on the labour market have been analyzed. Besides, measures for realizing positive practices of the former periods aimed at easing labour market tension and possible social risks, among the school and college graduates of various levels of training in particular, have been elaborated.
