Abstract
Object of the Study. Draft reform of the mandatory defined contribution pension system – its prerequisites and economic and social angles
Subject of the Study. Justifying the changes of the mandatory defined contribution (DC) pension system. Measures to create incentives for private individuals to join the voluntary defined contribution pension system; social and economic consequences of implementation of the voluntary DC pension system for all participants of the pension process in Russia
Purpose of the Study. To review the social and economic appropriateness of the abolishment of the mandatory DC pension system highlighted in the new draft. Disclosure of the real consequences of this measure for the existing pension system in Russia, its impact on the further development of the system and its efficiency.
