Abstract
Object of the Study is the quality of life of the city of Moscow working-age people with disabilities.
Subject of the Study is the system of occupational rehabilitation measures allowing to increase the quality of life of people with disabilities.
The Theoretical Aspect of the Subject An analysis of existing socioeconomic factors and conditions in the labour market for people with disabilities that affect their quality of life; is done as well as that of the determining health effects on the quality of life of persons with disabilities in the course of their occupational rehabilitation; assessment of the quality of communication with health life.
The Empirical Aspect of the Subject is the analysis of the quality of life of disabled people before and after the passage of a package of measures for occupational rehabilitation, conducting online survey by using a standard questionnaire SF-36 (Health Status Survey), allowing to determine the effect of occupational rehabilitation on the performance of health-related quality of life; development of programs and projects for their rehabilitation and social integration into society and participation in the labour force. Purpose of the Study is giving proof that labour rehabilitation of disabled people, is an integral component of the system of activities that enhance their quality of life.
The Basic Contents of the Article includes: the impact of labour rehabilitation of disabled persons on their quality of life; analysis of the socio-economic situation of persons with disabilities; analysis of the concept of health as an indicator of quality of life; methods for determining the quality of life through health changes, various aspects reflecting the human condition, the degree of violation of life functions under the influence of the existing restrictions on health; solution of problems of rehabilitation and social integration into society.
